Ambush!

A red dragonfly, a grasshopper, and a funky looking little yellow bug were my captures today.  Seems like the 'funky' is so appealing to me.  Probably, because I'm curious.  It took me a little while to identify this one but I did eventually find it.

The common name for this critter is Jagged Ambush Bug.  A sort of assassin that takes on the insects that attack the plant.
