October Morn

The morning dew slacked nearly everything this morning.  I got to the park earlier than usual and greeted the sun barely risen.  It was fun to take pictures of the dew.  Lake reflections were different.  I found a caterpillar this morning munching on breakfast.  He munched away some of his footing and I got a picture of him dangling.  Not to worry, he got back on his many feet in no time.  

This fellow, I'm not so sure.  Is he a fly?  A bee?  I'll do some looking .. maybe you can too.  I'll post what I find out when I do.

10/1 My bug guide friends tell me this is a fly whose abdomen has been distorted with some kind of fungi.
