The sun rose on a near cloudless sky this morning, casting a glow as it lifted from the horizon. The night chill had caused a thin layer of ice to form on the creek.
The thin ice lined the sides of the creek bed, having formed over the vegetation.
This, however, did not stop the geese from using their bodies as 'ice breakers' to get to their early morning breakfast.
It was interesting to actually see an effort on their part to get to their breakfast.
Hope you enjoyed!
