The sun has returned and lit the results of the week-end snowstorm. Paths are not plowed yet, but the sun is beating her warm rays and already making a dent in the accumulation. Last week the snow had thinned down to nothing in many places. The picnic tables were cleared of snow. Not now. The newspaper reported that New Hope storm snow accumulation was just over 8 inches. We got off easy. Eden Prairie, a suburb not many miles south of us, got twice that accumulation.
To give perspective, here are these same picnic tables from a picture taken on February 15th. I must admit that the blue sky and sun shining on the sparkling snow cover are beautiful still the same.
Hope you enjoyed!
