New Tree Fuzzing

Warm temperatures today and bright skies.  One of those days that lets you know spring is on the way.  I've noticed that a number of the trees have swollen buds near the tops.

I'm not sure what kind of tree this is, but have tentatively identified it as a quaking aspen.  If you know what kind of tree this is, please leave a comment with informational links.  Here is a close-up of some of her bursting buds:
