At the park, near the lake outlet, a new kind of flower is blooming among the Cypress Spurge.
Canadian Anemone are starting to sprinkle the shoreline with white.
This wasn't the only new flower identified today.
There are a small handful of Meadow Goat's Beard also starting open near Winnetka on the marsh road.
Bird chirps led me to find a new baby bird.
Yes, another woodpecker chick. This time a Hairy woodpecker. He was VERY loud in a nest cavity not far from the playground.
Hope you enjoyed!
