Discoveries on the Forrest Path

Took a turn off the normal paths into the forest today.

Found a young Gray Catbird in the shrubs that line the dirt path entrance.

Not too far in, a White Snakeroot is blooming.

Above the path are some 'Little Nest Polypore' ( Trametes conchifer).  They coated some dead branches.  The sunlight highlighted their beauty.
