Master gardeners blanketed their less hardy crops last night.
The weatherman alerted us of frost through the night last night. In the early morning hours, grassy fields at the park had a thin layer of white glazing each blade. Some of the larger leaves near the ground grew frosty thistles. The creek swirled with fog. Once the sun ray's hit, the dreamy scene melted away.
This kind of chill is more in line with October than September. Tomorrow morning is not expected to frost, nor the rest of this week. This was just a sneak peek of October.
Enjoy!
