Though the trees are thinning considerably and most flowers are but a dried image of once was, there are still a number of fresh blooms today.
Maximilian Sunflowers are in bloom near the ponds on Boone Avenue.
Yesterday, I found a garden escapee in the forest area at the park: October Daphne Stonecrop.
There are yet also Purple Coneflower in bloom. (photo taken yesterday.)
Enjoy!
