First Snow(ing)

It is not just the milkweed fuzz being blown by the wind today.  First snow with anticipated accumulation started around lunch time at the Park.  

The lake is more iced over than open now and only hardiest ducks and geese are still lingering.  They dunk in the water and stretch and flap their wings to remove what snow accumulates on them.    

Winter is at the doorstep now.  Seasons turn.
