Seeds in Stasis

There are times when the suns rays reach beneath the snow and warm the earth below.  Snow melts from the ground up leaving an icy "window".  The above photo captures not only the ice window, but also a number of wildflower seeds trapped in the ice.  The warmth over the last few days has been enough to make the icy window more lacy with holes melted through.
