At first glance, the left-over layers of fall seem to be successfully covering and preventing any new green. A closer look shows something starting to cautiously emerge. The one above looks almost camouflage. The one on the side is more bold in color, and strong to grow where ice has not fully retreated. Like a member of the green beret boldly growing in a harsh terrain. It won't be long now. Beautiful day for walk.Enjoy!
