Red Head

Saw a new duck at the lake this morning.  This red headed duck is a Redhead.  This bird, like the cowbird, is called parasitical.  This is because they have the habit of laying eggs in other ducks nests - including their own species.  Keep an eye out to see if any little ones make an appearance.
