A Leaf of a Different Color ...

Maybe it is the dryness, maybe something else, but have you noticed that some of the leaves are not the same colors as last year?  Some are.  Some, like the sumac leaves above are not.

Then, there are trees like the tamarak tree - Though the tamarack tree resembles other evergreens, it is actually a deciduous conifer, meaning that it sheds it’s needles every fall.  In the spring, they grow back again green.

I'm glad for things expected and unexpected.  One is a comfort and other interesting and new.
