This mallard couple tried out a makeshift pond formed on a grassy part near the lake. Many of the ducks and geese have returned. The marshes echo with their squawks. Over head, a Red-tail Hawk surveyed. A Robin lurks in the wooded area. Even a few flying insects were out today. The warm air made an afternoon walk a delight.Enjoy!
