Earlier this week, along the marsh road, the chestnut tree had a single blossom. The late afternoon sun hit between the other trees just right to highlight her beauty. While searching on the internet I found an interesting tidbit. In the Diary of Anne Frank, a similar chestnut tree is mentioned three times. Each time in a cheerful manner. Something about the chestnut blossom is cheering.
