When at rest, many damselflies rest with their wings next to their bodies. There are some, though, that rest spread wing. Found this one along the forest edge near the creek.

Spread Wing Damselfly

White Edging
White Snakeroot is starting to line the edge of some sections of the forest. Be careful in the heat this week. Record high temperature today and expected high through the week.
