Birds in Trees

Found several different birds in trees this morning.  Be it a Canadian Goose swimming in the reflection of a tree.  Or a couple of wood ducks nest hunting among the branches of a tree.  Or the fungi called 'Turkey' tail growing on a fallen tree.  ;-)

Spring Cling

Bare twigs expose the woody wild grape vines.  They cling to anything within growing reach.  

Today I found some fungi (Turkey Tail) that clung back.

Fungi Feast (Not!)

Found a new fungi today (above).  New for me anyway.  It is called Black Jellyroll, or Witches Butter.  Also found some Burnt Cake (side).  And ... Turkey Tail (below).  Almost sounds like a delicious trio - but don't - they are NOT edible.

Enjoy!  (Just don't eat them.)
