The sun came out this afternoon and the weather should be getting milder over the next couple days. Broken branches large and small were strewn about many parts of the park. You can see some of the branches under the trees in this picture.
Fresh mud mounds were evidence of crayfish re-digging. One mound had been stepped on by a deer. The air is chilled and temperatures are expected to plunge into freezing at night now. Other than ducks and geese, very few birds were visible and even fewer insects. I did catch this one.
These used to be in abundance, but now only a few were visible today. Seasons are changing.
