Flaky Sparkle

With a solid freeze set in, the light layer of flakes that fell last night gave a lovely sparkle on most things at the park.

Even with the cold temperatures, some spots of frost, or leftover frost were evident.

No open areas exist on the lake anymore.  The duck trails are gone, and it would seem the ducks are too.  I saw no geese at the lake or creek either.  I DID however find geese hiding out in the marsh area.  There was a small patch of open water in the marsh.  I wonder if there is a natural spring gushing water there?
