Wing tracks?

Had an early start this morning.  Found some unusual tracks in the snow on the creek.  I saw no evidence of the geese or ducks save this:

The side lines at the beginning or ending of the track must be wing tracks ... don't you think?

The 'Zamboni' paths have been covered with blown and ripple-drifted snow.  Patches without snow along the lake shore show evidence of holes broken in the ice.  I am not sure what is making them.  Perhaps muskrats?  Yet another mystery.
