Subdued Sunset

Most of this day was bright, until mid afternoon. The winter sun sets early and although there should have been  fading light of a sun still above the horizon, it was not.  Layers of clouds of various thickness prevented the sun from shining on the park.  The late afternoon sun was subdued.

The lighter layers of clouds above made for interesting sky patterns.  The weather forecast for the next several days looks cloudy with some snow.  Hopefully I can catch a window of opportunity when the light is bright enough and share more pictures with you this week.
