Lakeside Warm-up

Many of my recent posts have been focusing on the east side of the park with the creek and marshes.  Today, I'm turning to the lakeside to report whats happening there.  Although paths are not visible yet, there is ample evidence of warming.  Our state borders one of the great lakes, and at the park - we have the 'great puddle'.  ;-)

More people than usual were out today.  Caught this basketball team of family/friends warming up in spite of the snow.  ;-)

Lastly, the Great Blue Heron moved back to an old lake-side haunt.
