Took this close-up of a pink spike near the lake.
This flower can grow on land or in the water. Maybe that is why they call it a Swamp Smartweed?
This small purple beauty was found in the shade near the creek. She is a Creeping Bellflower.
And this strange spiky one is a Rattlesnake Master.
I haven't seen any snakes at the park as yet, though a walker once described an encounter with a garden snake. This is the only "snake" I've seen.
Enjoy!
