Rainy and hot today. Summer has been more hot and humid that average and some of the plants are not exactly happy about it.
This Prairie Onion is bent over from it.
Others seem to go along as normal. This Wild Cucumber is starting to open on both sides of the marsh road near the park.
Along the south side of the creek, Culver's Root are opening. This plant was once used for medicinal purposes and some speculate it got its name from a doctor who regularly prescribed it.
And Canada Goldenrod is opening along the marsh road.
Careful of the heat today!
