A yellow flower is opening just before the first bridge.
This is a Prairie Coreopsis. Many of the yellow flower blooms look similar and to identify requires looking at the leaves and under the flower. Another flower is blooming close to the bridge on the baseball field side.
This delicate pale beauty reminds me of a morning glory, but it is a Field Blindweed. The flower only lasts for one day.
This iridescent beauty seems exotic. It lives up to its name, Japanese Beetle. They are considered pests and do damage by skeletonizing the foliage.
