I took a different path on my walk today, along the back fence of the baseball fields. There was not much of a path there actually, but many new things hid there!
A dragonfly rested on a small patch of Gloriosa Daisy. This plant is not a native, but a cultivar of Rudbeckia (Black-eyed Susans).
Also behind the baseball fence, a couple Obedient Plants were hidden among the taller weeds.
But probably the loveliest find back there were several scattered patches of Queen Anne's Lace.
Enjoy!
