As with Thanksgivings past, we find ourselves visiting family in my home town of Red Wing, MN. She is a pretty town along the Mississippi river and surrounded by bluffs. This photo was taken on a walk after lunch. Can you see the hawk in the distance over the trees? The hillside was covered with dried Queen Anne's Lace and a spotting of golden rod and dried cup plants. It was a warm day (50+ F) that drove away any remaining hints of snow earlier in the week.
