Rev 22:1 And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the 5throne of God and of the Lamb in the middle of its street. ~~~ Live in the USA? Get a free Bible and free Christian books

Wobbly Warbler

This little guy was having trouble taking flight.  The Yellow Warbler was as busy eating as being concerned about that.  Eventually he flew a dozen feet into a wooded area.  Hope he is okay!

Should be relatively warmer today.

Enjoy!

Bald Eagle

In the 'Egret Tree' a new predator was perched this afternoon.  I've seen this bird at the park before on an early morning a week or so ago.  The lake has plenty of fish, and the Bald Eagles love fish.

Enjoy!

Cup Plant Full of Life

Not to be confused with the Prairie Dock, or the compass, a number of Cup Plants are now in bloom along Boone Avenue. All three flowers look similar and all three are tall.  The Cup Plants are easy to identify by their leaves.  They form a 'cup' on the stem.

I couldn't help notice so many forms of life to be found on this amazing plant.  Bees, Japanese Beetles, Golden Finch,

Assassin bug nymphs.
Soldier beetles and a Jumping spiders.
Enjoy!

Killdeer and Swamp Milkweed

Saw a family of Killdeer this morning at the park.  Killdeer get their name from their shrill call 'kill-deer.'  I've also noticed that more of the swamp milkweed are growing among the cattail this year.  A Monarch butterfly is enjoying this one.

Happy 4th of July!

Great Egret

A small island of debris seemed the perfect fishing spot for this Great Egret.  But I observed only a couple small catches before it flew away.  Such a pretty white bird, some people call them angel birds

Enjoy!
