The warmer March temperatures are melting the small side pond along the marsh road and showing a little cattail green to come. Green is making it's way through the drab forest floor and patches of moss are flourishing.

Green is Showing!
The warmer March temperatures are melting the small side pond along the marsh road and showing a little cattail green to come. Green is making it's way through the drab forest floor and patches of moss are flourishing.

No Blarney - Bit 'O Green for Paddy's Day
The forest edge has melted patches. Looking closely, one can see some green uncovered and some new green pushing up.Enjoy!

Tamarack
The Tamarack tree near the creek is greening. Ojibwe sometimes use this tree to make 'Swamp tea'. I tasted it once, it wasn't too bad.
