Chilled Morning Abundant with Red

The park has an abundance of birds right now.  Some are obviously ample in number - like the Canadian geese and the Mallard ducks.   This morning, I noticed abundance of birds with red, including the Red-winged blackbirds.

They are particularly loud right now ... and is it any wonder?  See how they use their whole bodies to sing.  They are the trilling opera singers of the park right now.  This guy is not getting ready to fly - he is just singing!

I've also seen at least half a dozen American robins.

And of course, there were a few Cardinals around providing bright red.
