High Water

Rain and wind don't make for a nice mix when it comes to going out to take pictures.  I did not venture far from my vehicle today.  There are flash flood warnings here in our county and you can see why.

Yesterday this was more like a trickle at the lake outlet.   Not like today.  The picture below was taken on April 24th, 2011.

We have a couple more days of rain and slush in the forecast yet to make it through.

Things are looking more green.  And slush is better than snow.  ;-)   By Friday the sun should be back and  temperatures are expected to hit near 70F/21C.
