A Good Day for Basking

The weather was warmer today with less wind.  The sun was bright and beautiful.  A perfect turtle day!


The first  bridge on the east side of the park was the favorite for at least a half dozen turtles.  Here a picture of a couple of the larger ones spotted.

                        

As I was walking through the park I found someone else who frequently walks and watches nature.  I filled her in on where the turtles were basking.  Hopefully I will see her again.  =)
