Fresh Blanket of Snow

I got out early this morning, but I wasn't the earliest!  The park was covered with 6-8 inches of new snow.  A fresh blanket of snow tells many stories. One story was that someone enjoyed an early morning cross country ski trek.

Many scenic views greeted me at the park and just a couple walkers.  The walkers were more talkative.  Maybe it was kind of a mutual admiration, recognition of another brave soul.  That recongition deserved more than just the customary statement about the weather.

See the double lined tracks going through the trees?  Ski tracks!
