Frost before the Storm

Early morning at the park was frosty.  Frost covered most things.  The cocoon did not escape it.

Fuzz on the cattails got frosted too.

Much of the frost had a snowflake kind of look and texture.

Snow storms are predicted for later today and through tomorrow.  It should cover with several inches.  These delicate details will be lost after the storm.   I also spied a duck in the marsh area ... and a FOX!  Both were too far away to get a clear shot at them.  But now I'll be on the look out.  Especially for the fox.
