Many birds were out today enjoying the sun. Although the temperatures are less than freezing, somehow the melt continues. Caught a couple Black-capped Chickadees raiding an abandoned woodpecker stash. One would raid while the other stood watch. Then they switched off.
They were not the only ones feeding in the wild. Caught this American Robin enjoying berries that otherwise survived the winter.
And found a couple Killdeer picking at delicacies in the marsh.
There were many birds out today: Cardinals, a Downey woodpecker, a couple Hooded Merganser ducks, Mallard ducks, Canadian geese and a number of loud Red-Winged blackbirds. And one of the muskrats also showed himself.
Hope you enjoyed!
