Slushy snow over the last couple days has coated things with a wet layer of snow. It hasn't been enough to refreeze the creek.
The water is high, and even the snow accumulated on pine branches is drippy.
This has not hampered with wildlife. While at the park I saw the Mallard ducks and Canadian geese.
I also saw a lone muskrat and a pair of bluebirds.
Lastly I saw a couple of Hooded Merganser ducks. I'm hoping tomorrows sunshine will allow for some better wildlife pictures. The weather was too poor to take the good camera. None the less, it was a pleasant surprise to see so much life out and about on such a yucky day!
Hope you enjoyed!
