There are many busy pollinators at the park, and one of the loveliest to watch are the moths and butterflies.
Some are large and beautiful and commonly seen:
Like this Monarch Butterfly, resting on a milkweed flower.
Other are smaller and easily missed like this small white one pollinating the small flowers of a sweet clover.
And some are strange and unusual, like this one : Hummingbird Clearwing Moth. It is named for how it looks and acts.
Ooh! Especially beautiful macro images! Love the Hummingbird Clearwing Moth! I've caught a glimpse of these unusual creatures twice. Though, I was not quite quick enough to capture a great photo such as yours.
