Yellow, Orange, Red - Hot!

Though the sky is overcast, the heat and humidity make for a drippy walk.
A number of thistles are opening.  This one is probably a Common Sowthistle.

 Along the marsh road, this Day Lily popped.  The first of many yet to open.
The heat has brought out more bugs.  This Hair Woodpecker should have no problem finding 'grub'.  ;-)
