Wings at Rest

A variety of dragonflies have made their home at the park.  Here is one resting atop a blade.

I love the orange and brown coloring on the wings.  This was not the only animal to be found resting.

Several of the swallows rested from their field swooping on the path.  It must be warm with the sun beating on it.  Do you suppose they have aches that the heat helps with?
