Changes on the Horizon

Warmer weather has brought out many more park walkers, but still has not melted the ice.  Shoreline open water is expanding.  This common gull was resting on the remaining lake ice.

And although buds are bulging more and more, none have opened yet.

Changes are visible ...

But mostly as promise that there is more to come,  just on the horizon.  ;-)
