Marching Along

Winter snows are hard to find now.  The ice is breaking up in the creek.  Ice on the lake is thinning. And pussy willows are coming out to play.  It will not be too long now before the early wildflowers make their entrance.  We might even see a butterfly or two yet in March!

After the Storm

After the snow storm meandered through Minnesota, Northwood Park enjoyed the mild side this time.  My parents in Red Wing had about 10 inches of snow with sprinkled power outages.  New Hope had some accumulation yesterday, but it easily melted within hours.   

Sending warming wishes to those south who were harder hit.
