The Melt

Much of last weeks snowfall melted away overnight.  This morning started with a thick cover of white fog.  These were taken as the fog was subsiding.

Early November Snow

Today the snow picked up again.  The white lines in the above tree line are falling snow.  The weather has been cold and snowy for the past week.  Time to unpack the long johns and legwarmers!

November 14, 15 Overflow

Teaming

Temperatures earlier this week caused a layer of ice to cover the lake.   The lake outlet was flowing and busy with darting water bugs.  Most were crowded along the wall.  November is full of wonderful paradoxes. (Photo taken Thursday, November 14th, 2013.)
